Modularized waste heat boiler


To satisfy the demand for short installation period, prolonged reliable operation and easy maintenance in petrochemical industry, Qiyao Energy has developed and designed new type of waste heat boiler with modularized structure, i.e., the heating surface of the waste heat boiler, such as economizer, evaporator and superheater, all use modularized structure.

For modularized heating surface, the welding and assembly of all heating surface is completed in the workshop, which ensures the quality of the equipment. The site work required is lifting and connecting only, which minimizes the installation period. Moreover, the modularized structure is featured by simple structure, high accessibility of all welds during maintenance, removable in rows (Patent No.: ZL 2005 2 0041 753.3) and thus facilitates the inspection and maintenance activities.

    The boiler adopts single steam drum of natural circulation and an insulating furnace of micro positive pressure combustion in order to increase the combustion temperature in the furnace. The boiler end consists of modularized fin-tube heat exchanger (including evaporator and economizer) and is provided with water-heat-medium air preheater. The boiler is featured by large capacity, complete combustion, large output, stable combustion, high efficiency, easy operation & maintenance.

    All heating surface equipment in the project was delivered as modules. The assembly and welding of pressure parts were performed in the workshop (100% RT for butt welds) and delivered as a whole, which prevented inconsistent quality of site welding and extended the stable operation period of waste heat boiler for catalytic unit.
